WHERE WE ARE NOW
A lot is happening behind the scenes as we work toward bringing the St. Augustine Celtic Festival & Highland Games back in 2027. Here is where things currently stand.
🏟️ Venue Planning
We have contacted the City's event manager regarding Francis Field and are gathering information about availability, requirements and associated costs. We are also considering backup locations in case Francis Field is not available.
💰 Tentative Budget
We have developed a preliminary event budget based on the information currently available. The budget will continue to evolve as actual venue, permitting, entertainment, equipment and operational costs are confirmed.
🗺️ Site Planning
Preliminary site plans have been created for Francis Field so the organizing team can begin evaluating locations for the Highland Games, clans, vendors, entertainment, food and beverage areas, public seating, EMS access and other festival operations.
💚 Current Donations
Community donations received:
$1,270.21
An anonymous supporter has offered to match donations up to $5,000.
$2,540.42 currently committed toward saving the festival!
🤝 Building the Team
We are now bringing together event organizers and team leaders who can help oversee the many pieces required to make the festival successful. From Highland Games and clans to vendors, volunteers, entertainment, sponsorships, logistics and more, the next major step is building the team that will make this event possible.
Tentative planning budget — subject to change as costs and event details are finalized.
Transparency Matters
We believe our supporters should know how funds are being planned and used. This preliminary budget reflects our current estimates and will be updated as venue, permit, entertainment, equipment and operational costs are confirmed. For questions, please contact us at info@f4sa.org.
